MEGA Millions Numbers

AP-Numbers were drawn Tuesday night for the Mega Millions jackpot of $252 million.

The winning numbers were 3, 12, 19, 22 and 40; Mega Ball 2.
Sure, the odds are a little daunting – 1 in 175 million – but it didn’t seem to deter the jackpot hopefuls. Dreams of buying vacation islands, giving to charity and the fantasy of never returning to work lined up behind cash registers Tuesday.

By early afternoon, the Marathon service station on Highland Avenue in Columbia Township sold about $600 worth of tickets.

The top prize has rolled over 13 times since the last time someone won it early last month. Mega Millions is played in 12 states including Ohio.
The jackpot is the seventh-biggest offered. The largest Mega Millions jackpot ever won was $390 million in March 2007. That prize was split by two tickets, purchased in Georgia and New Jersey.

Coroner: Cause of death 'deferred'

The autopsy on the body of pop star Michael Jackson has been completed, but the coroner has ordered further tests and the cause of death has not been determined, a spokesman said.

Craig Harvey from the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office also said the autopsy showed no sign of external trauma or indication of foul play.

The cause of death has been deferred, which means the medical examiner has ordered additional testing such as toxicology and other studies, Craig Harvey, operations chief for the coroner, told a throng of reporters.
He said that once those tests are completed in four to six weeks, "We anticipate being able to close the case and issuing a final cause of death."
